Well, just a few days ago, Amber Chia had made a brief press conference to explain the whole secret marriage thingy. Apparently, the orange-haired guy in the photo is not an angmoh !! And he had a previous marriage too. Gossip..

SO, are you still curious to know who is Amber Chia's husband ? His name is Adrian Wong, her closest male friend, manager and business partner. Adrian is a business graduate from Melbourne University and spent 10 years living Down Under.

The shy guy is also formerly the founder and director of Absolute Entertainment, the event management company that was responsible for bringing in the Pussycat Dolls and Andy Lau to Malaysia. 


Adrian Wong dyed his hair orange to hide from the knowledge of the public just for this wedding.

His biggest surprise for her came five and a half months ago when he popped the question by just leaving a wedding ring on her bed after they secretly courted for one and a half years.

As both had always wanted a quiet wedding, the couple decided to get hitched secretly on the mystical island of Bali on March 25. He gave her a two-carat diamond ring, she gave him a Bulgari wedding band.

Another surprised or shocking news is perhaps Adrian Wong has 2 children from his previous marriage with his divorced wife. He admitted that he had married before and that he was seeing Amber Chia only after separating from his ex-wife.

The 36-year-old businessman, Adrian Wong is involved in property business in Australia, Hong Kong and Malaysia, has two kids from his previous marriage.

Former MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek won the president's post with a slim 68-vote majority today, edging former number one Tan Sri Ong Ka Ting and incumbent Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat in the party's elections. Dr Chua, 62, polled 901 votes to Ka Ting's 833. Tee Keat came in third with 578 votes.

For the four posts of vice-president, sole woman contender Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen had the highest number of votes - 1,528, followed by former vice-president Datuk Donald Lim (1,469), Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Chor Chee Heung (1,202) and Central Committee (CC) member Gan Ping Sieu (also 1,202).


Today's victory is a pleasant one for Dr Chua, who had to battle the two heavyweight rivals but showed that he remains popular in the party despite many upheavals.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has launched their new supercar, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. For a staggering RM1,999,999 (OTR without insurance) price tag, you get Mercedes-Benz’s latest and most advanced supercar, one created as a tribute to the 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing.

The signature gullwing doors are obviously the highlight, although Mercedes-Benz has done well to recreate the original car’s classic long bonnet, short rear proportion and muscular stance, while retaining the distinctive front grille with the large, imposing three-pointed star logo. Inspired by aviation engineering, the interior is a wonderful concoction of Nappa leather, carbon fibre and metal trim,all of the finest quality.

Thanks to a combination of low weight count and explosive power, the SLS AMG accelerates from 0-to-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, and on to an electronically limited top speed of 317 km/h. Data Capping TMNET HSBB aka UniFi Packages Suspended

Suspension of Data Download Cappings for All UniFi packages

A very good news to all current and future TMNET HSBB aka UniFi subsribers as TM has already suspended their data download capping for all UniFi packages. This was due to the tons of complains TMNET received from the public in the micro blogging site, Twitter yesterday.

One of their Unifi tweets in Twitter stating that -
NO volume cap 4 all #unifi packages 4 now. Decision due to public feedback. TM will only monitor usage pattern 4 time being (sic)

The public were very disappointed over the expensive charges TMNET's HSBB packages for home users which are RM149 for 5Mbps, RM199 for 10Mbps, and RM249 for 20Mbps repectively

Whereas in Singapore, a 100Mbps service which is 5 times the speed of a 20Mbps connection that only costs about RM200.

Prices aside,the biggest let down was the fact that all UniFi packages have a download data as such consumers learned that the 5Mbps service is capped at 60GB while 10Mbps service is capped at 90GB and 20Mbps service has a 120GB cap every months.

To make matters even worst, the data download caps are calculated on a daily basis. If consumers exceeded their daily download limit, the high-speed broadband connections would be throttled down to about 10% of the purchased speed. WHAT THE HELL !!

As a consumer, we are paying for such a premium price for broadband and TM is actually capping and throttle our download speed if we exceeded the daily limit. At least, in my honest opinion, they should improve their current copper connection to be more stable in all areas instead with the money earned from HSBB.

Yes, I know currently TM is the pioneer and the only ISP which offers such services but if they were to gain trust from the end-users, I think it is good to improve their foundations before even trying to promote new innovations.

Malaysian Jane Ng Meng Hui黄明慧 of One FM walked away with the Best Newcomer award at the 4th Asian Film Awards.

The One FM deejay beat four other artistes from China, Hong Kong, Korea and India to receive the honour at the award-giving ceremony in Hong Kong on Monday.

Ng was commended for her role as a rebellious 16-year-old student in At the End of Daybreak, helmed by Malaysian popular director Ho Yu Hang.

I'm actually anticipating Nuffnang's Project Alpha Season 2 but something really put me off when I went to The Star's micro website yesterday, Daily Chilli. As an avid reader of this site, I cant help by the fact that many of the readers there are complaining about the annoyance of Project Alpha's teasers and bloopers being played after refreshing every pages.


Why ? See, you are reading an interesting article on Daily Chilli then this "cowboy" song suddenly played and you are searching frantically all around your browser to stop the song and for all you know, it is just located on the bottom right of all the Daily Chilli page. Yes, I've gone through that, it gave me a shock at first, midnight somemore...

And just when you had paused it and navigate to the next page, the song starts all over again. Isn't that a nuisance ? Sounds familiar like other bloggers' site?? Yes exactly. One of the rules to gain more traffics is not to put your playlist on autoplay mode. People will get annoyed eventually.See, I had already shed some light on the traffic thingy.


I really do hope that the webmaster solve this problem asap cause in turn both Daily Chilli and Project Alpha would get into a self destruct mode soon.


Some say its cheap publicity to get noticed but I say its a brilliant idea to embed some of the Project Alpha's video in it. Just that it was not done in a right way. My suggested solutions are the

• Embedded video can stay there but make sure it is not on autoplay mode.
• Exchange the video with a flash advertisement like the Digi and Peugeot ads
• Put in Project Alpha FB logo instead of Youtube videos in a noticeable and obvious position in the Daily Chilli site. At least, you get some clicks from here too..

Hopefully both parties will have the problems fixed asap to avoid being complained and losing the readers interest. Just my 2 cents.

Telekom Malaysia (TM) is launching the High Speed Broadband (HSBB) service on this coming 24 March 2010 at Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur. TM will announce a new branding for its HSBB service as well as its packages and pricing. The HSBB service will be launched by Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Najib Tun Razak.

During this perioed, the four main areas that will be covered by TM HSBB services at the time of service launch will be Shah Alam, Subang Jaya, Taman Tun Dr Ismail and Bangsar.

While Malaysians are preparing ourself for Earth Hour like we did last year, TM on the other hand in its press release said:
To mark the countdown to March 24 2010 in a grand manner, the entire Menara TM will be lit up every evening starting from 15 March 2010 with a graphical countdown projection beam depicting a countdown clock leading up to the gala launch date.

TM’s total expenditure related to the HSBB project as of 31 December 2009 reached RM1.9 billion while the total of approved claims from Government up to December 2009 stands at RM990 million. In terms of premises passed, TM has wired up to 152,000 premises passed as at 31 December 2009.

No Sweat

I think its the El-Nino phenomenon - Heat !!

Its so hot nowadays and I cant barely stand the heat anymore !! I would sweat and wet my t shirt as soon as I step out the house. The sweltering heat combine with a healthy amount of UV rays can easily make you sweat non stop.

I am known as a person who sweats easily. Just by stacking a pile newspapers indoor, you can already see beads of sweat waiting to drip out of my forehead and of course ahem, the ARMPITS !!

Rumors are true that German Band, Tokio Hotel is coming to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to perform a concert sponsored by TM with the tagline of "Everyone Connects With Tokio Hotel" on 1st May 2010 @ Central Park Avenue, 1 Utama..Wuhoo !!


The awesome part of this concert is, it is free !! Yeah,you read it right..I suspect that TM is sponsoring this concert in line with their expansion of High Speed Broadband (HSBB) services throughout Klang Valley and I just saw TM contractors laying the cables a few kilometers from my house !!

Popular with their current single, "Automatic",Monsoon and Scream. Tokio Hotel's songs has been playing in my head since it hit the airwaves a month or 2 back. This quartet band hailed from Magdeburg,Germany consists of Bill Kaulitz, Tom Kaulitz, Georg Listing, Gustav Schäfer.

Playboy Clips Aired on Kids Channel !! WTH !!

Playboy videos pops up on children’s TV

Time Warner Cable has apologised for airing Playboy programming on two children’s TV channels, namely Kids On Demand and Kids Preschool on Demand which airs Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon,BBC Kids and Nick's JR.

Melissa Buscher, director of media relations for Time Warner in the Carolinas, told WRAL-TV the mistake was caused by “equipment failure”.

The error caused Playboy programming to air on Channel 553 Kids on Demand and Channel 553 Kids Preschool on Demand at around 6:15 and 8:15 a.m local time,17th March 2010

It is reported that the programming menu listed information for children’s shows on the screen’s left side, while previews of nude women played on the right side.

It took technicians two hours to fix the glitch and officials said they weren't sure how many saw the mixed-up programming.

The company’s office was flooded by calls of parents and viewers.

Spokesman Keith Poston said the TV channels were “very, very sorry it happened”, adding that the problem hit “at the worst possible time on the worst possible channels”.

Poston also pointed out that even Time Warner's robust parental controls would not have blocked the images from viewers who happened upon them on Tuesday.
