Was in Midvalley to have my dinner at Chilis. While was walking towards the restaurant, I was very excited !! Guess what I saw ? Nike Football was doing the "Write The Future" roadshow in the concourse !! Suddenly, I had become a kiddo wandering around looking at the "toys".

I'm a self proclaimed Nike freak so as long as there's a Swoosh sign or their ever popular tagline "Just Do It". Last week, Nike Football released their latest campaign video for the upcoming  FiFa 2010 World Cup starring soccer superstars Didier Drogba, Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Nike's three-minute video "Write the Future" epic set a new record for most views of a viral video ad in its debut week, according to web video analytics company Visible Measures.

It even beat the previous record holder, another Nike ad called "Earl and Tiger" featuring golfer Tiger Woods after his heavily publicized return to the sport.


"Earl and Tiger" reached 6.3 million views in its first week and "Write the Future" achieved 7.8 million. The fact that "Write the Future" beat "Earl and Tiger" is even more impressive considering the fact that the latter hit the web amidst the Tiger Woods scandal. The current count for this new video on YouTube is 10.1 million.

Despite his lacklustre performance on Tuesday's performance show, Lee DeWyze still managed to win the competition due to his extreme high number of SMS voters, all thanks to his fan base !!

Supermodel Bar Refaeli was caught at Tel Aviv's international airport this week trying to bring in her newly purchased iPad without declaring it at customs. Items brought into Israel worth more than around $200 are subject to duties.

Refaeli told Israel's Channel 10 TV that she had an iPad in a suitcase that was lost in transit. She said she didn't declare the iPad upon entrance to Israel for a brief commercial appearance. She is now required to pay 650 shekels ($170) in taxes and fines to get it back.

Scandal-hit Singaporean filmmaker Jack Neo may be ready to face the public again. Last week, he was seen in a restaurant in Shaw Centre on Orchard Road in Singapore with wife Irene Kng and his proteges, actors Henry Thia and Mark Lee.


In March, the director made headlines after the media got wind of his affair with 22-year-old Wendy Chong. Neo has kept a low profile for the past month.


Thia told Shin Min Daily News that he invited the couple and Lee for a celebratory meal.The 57-year-old actor had just received news that he had won the Best Supporting Actor at the 53rd Asia Pacific Film Festival. The event was held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, last Saturday.


According to Thia, there were altogether six people at the table. Besides Neo and Kng, both Lee and Thia also went with their wives. Thia said that Neo not only helped his wife to various dishes, he even hand-fed her.


Thia also told the Chinese daily that Kng continued to manage Neo's finances and that the director was preparing to work on a new movie with Lee. This will be the first movie by Lee's company. Filming is expected to start next month and may take place in Malaysia.

As much as I like to see Lin Dan plays his awesome badminton skills, I do hate to see his cockiness on the court. Yeah, I know, the Malaysian press had always been putting high hopes on Lee Chong Wei delivering the first point for the team in the 2010 Thomas Cup. Never do they foresee,seeing him to eventually falter to the hands of Lin Dan.

On the other hand, no doubt we have been outplayed by the Chinese players but hopefully this would give a good lesson to all the players to improve themselves further if they are to gunning all out to win grand championships in the future.


Its sad to say that Malaysia did not field their strongest team for the 2010 Thomas Cup but on the bright side, we can see backup players such as Ho Thien How performed brilliantly under pressure with his scratch partner.


There's still hope for Malaysian badminton players, the new generation needs more exposure and practice to them blossoming into the future Lee Chong Wei or even Lin Dan to revive our nation's glory in this sport !!

After weeks of training, and guess who won the coveted title ?*drumroll* Lets give a big applause to Miss Nadine Ann Thomas !! *claps* She had beaten Mourhrna Anneta Reddy and Vera Hui plus the remaining contestants en route to winning this grand competition.

2nd place went to Mourhrna Anneta Reddy, a Model and Law Graduate while Vera Hui an airstewardess was the 2nd runner up. Vera Hui,so happen is the daughter of my dad's best friend in their schooldays !!

I can hear his joy and excitement when my dad ring him up after looking at the result from the Internet. Many congrats to Vera Hui and her family and of course not to mention, all the contestants who worked very hard throughout the whole competition.


Gonna end my post soon and I would like to express my dissatisfaction towards NTV7 as they are supposed to broadcast a delayed telecast at 11pm of the Miss Universe Malaysia 2010 but it all ended with an empty hope. Not only you made me waited, my whole family members were gluing in front of the tele awaiting the program !!
