Sir Bobby Robson Passed Away

Sir Bobby Robson had died due to years long of battle against cancer at the age of 76. A statement issued on behalf on his family read: "It is with great sadness that it has been announced that Bobby Robson has lost his long and courageous battle with cancer.



"He died very peacefully at his home in County Durham with his wife and family beside him. A thanksgiving service in celebration of Bobby's life will be held at a later date for his many friends and colleagues."

News of Robson's death led to a flood of tributes from within the game and further afield. Prime Minister, Gordon Brown said, "Over the past few years, he fought cancer with his characteristic tenacity and good humour. He will be sorely missed not only in Newcastle and Ipswich, both of whom he served with such devotion, but by all sports fans in our country. My sincere condolences go to his wife Elsie and his family."

Manchester United New Away Kit 09/10

Manchester United had just released a new Away Kit just within a month before the new 09/10 Barclays Premier League kick-off !! Well, it is of similar blueprint of the Home Kit "V" chested jersey. This time its a full black base and the "V" shaped is blue in color and of course the Manchester United badge on the left and Nike Swoosh logo on the right. I think it does look elegant on the players and the fans themselves.

The exact same one like the red kit.

So, do place your orders for the new kit and the launch day is on 13th August 2009. I think it's worth getting both Home and Away Kits if you dont own any of those. I hope they are using this new kit for the ongoing Audi Cup 2009.

It does look great on Manchester United players and Blue and Black are my favourite colors !!

Yasmin Ahmad's Talentime OST - Pergi

Talentime is going to be the last movie by Yasmin Ahmad. Its very sad but thats the fact. She has left us for her creator, The Almighty God, Allah. I really felt sad that I couldn't find spare time to watch her last few movies namely, Mukhsin, Mualaf and Talentime. Last night, heard this song and watched the video clips of it from 8TV and Youtube. The title is Pergi, sang by Aizat. Seriously, if you really listen to it or just by reading the lyrics itself, the song can really put you to tears especially during these few sad days of her passing.

Manchester United Ends Asia Tour 2009 with A Big Win !!

Manchester United's Michael Owen scored twice and Ryan Giggs slotted home a second-half hat-trick as Manchester United ended their Asia Tour by hammering Hangzhou Greentown,8-2.It was maybe not the strenuous test Sir Alex Ferguson would have wanted but, in maintaining a 100% record in four games so far, at least United are heading towards their quest to land an unprecedented fourth consecutive league title in confident mood.

No-one, least of all Ferguson, will draw too many conclusions from this tour. Nevertheless, as he boarded an overnight flight to Munich, where United will compete in the Audi Cup on Wednesday and Thursday, Ferguson must have been quietly satisfied with what has been achieved over the past 10 days.

In a more competitive environment an inquest would have been held into the failure of the far side assistant to raise an offside flag given Owen was never actually on-side from the moment Nani collected possession to the time United's new striker swept his team in front. His second was a gem though, Owen taking Dimitar Berbatov's pass on his chest before volleying home.
After the Bulgarian had added number two, Tosic - who had limited chance to impress after joining from Partizan Belgrade - fired home a neat third with a rising drive better keepers than Jiang Bo would have struggled to keep out.

The second half was a procession, with Nani producing a trademark back-flip in celebration at his effort before Giggs scored twice in seven minutes, adding another near the end for good measure, although Greentown did manage a couple of consolation through Wang Hong You.

Yasmin Ahmad's Best Petronas Ads To Date

I'm still grieving and sad over the fact that Yasmin Ahmad passed away at an age just barely over a half century. She was widely recognized in Malaysia and internationally well known too. Her movies,mostly controversial and daring (Gubra and Sepet) plus the advertisements on TV especially the Petronas ads that were artistically done.

To acknowledged her with this post, I've chosen 2 really heart touching Petronas ads shown on TV during Chinese New Year and Raya,both of year 2006.





The motive of those are mainly to instill moral values into the hearts of people as we can practically assumed that good values are slowly slacking off from us in the ever changing nature of life.

YOUNG PEOPLE OUT THERE, PLEASE DONT ABANDON YOUR PARENTS AS THEY ARE THE ONES WHO BRING YOU INTO THIS WORLD. REMEMBER THAT !!

Film and Art Director Yasmin Ahmad Passed Away

Malaysia has just lost a renowned film and advertising director,Yasmin Ahmad. She passed away at about 11.25 pm last night(Saturday,25th July). Her death was confirmed by Media Prime Group Chief Operations Officer Datuk Seri Ahmad Farid Ridzuan, who was at the Damansara Specialist Hospital, when contacted by Bernama. She was reported to have suffered a stroke and brain haemorrhage.

Yasmin Ahmad, 51, collapsed while presenting a working paper at Sri Pentas, the headquarters of the private television station TV3 on Thursday and was rushed to the Damansara Specialists Hospital.

I used to be a fan of hers, I mean its like everyone who watches all her Petronas advertisement and movies like Sepet, Gubra, and Mukhsin definitely fell in love at first sight with her well written scripts and heart-touching scenes.


Yasmin’s road to success began with her work as an advertising copywriter at Ogilvy & Mather. Over time, she advanced to become creative director with Leo Burnett, Kuala Lumpur.

Fame followed when she took up filmmaking, with her movies having won widespread acclaim, including many international awards, and her works have been shown at prestigious film festivals in Cannes, San Francisco, Berlin and Singapore.Yasmin was inducted into the Malaysian Advertising Hall of Fame by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia last November.

Megan Fox has been named the hottest woman in the world for the second year in a row by men's magazine FHM. This beauty is only the second woman to retain her crown in consecutive years, following in the footsteps of Jennifer Lopez who won in 2001 and 2002.
