Mitsubishi Malaysia had just launched yet another new model to the already packed SUV-market in the name of Mitsubishi ASX (Active Smart X-Over) - a cross breed between Mitsubishi Outlander and Mitsubishi Lancer. The price of this model is set at RM137k which make it very competitive on sales and not to mention it is fully imported from Japan.

Powered by a 2.0-litre engine with DOHC, 16 valves and MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve Timing Electronic Control) technology and INVECS-III CVT gearbox with 6-step Sports Mode, the ASX that shares the same platform with the Mitsubishi Lancer. This lightweight, aluminium block engine is capable of producing horsepower of 150 PS and 197 Nm torque.

The simple yet stylish cabin features quality soft touch panel and luxurious leather seats. The tilt and telescopic steering wheel and gear knob are also leather wrapped. The comprehensive equipment list also includes a 2 DIN LCD touch screen entertainment system incorporating a reverse camera, automatic air conditioning with air filter and cruise control.

There is also a full colour LCD multi information system nestled between the sporty main dials. For added convenience, the ASX comes with automatic retractable door mirrors.

The ASX will be showcased at Centre Court of Midvalley shopping centre from 10-14 November, where visitors can touch and feel the car. Ralliart merchandise will also be on sale at the event.
