Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore's first casino on the island has made a staggering S$40mil(RM96mil) in just 2 days since its opening. And it was surprising to see that Malaysians made up 1/3 of the total revenue.


Most of the big time gamblers especially the multi millionaires from Hong Kong, China and Taiwan had re-routed their flight destination to this island from the gambling haven of Macau and Las Vegas

It is learnt most of them landed at Seletar Airport, where they were transported to Resorts World Sentosa in limousines.


Plus, its was also a sight to behold as more than 20 luxury sports cars including Ferrari and Lamborghini arrived at the casino in the evening and left only the next day.

For those who are unaware, there are some rules set especially on the entrance into the casino strictly applied to Singaporeans

• Singaporean and PR has to pay $100 per entry. $100 will allow you multiple entry within 24 hours
• WP, Student Pass, Dependent Pass and other passes can go in FREE when you produce your passport.
• Foreigners can go in FREE. This includes Domestic workers or so called Foreign Talents in Singapore

But of course, if you are willing to pay S$2000,will entitled you to enter the casino for unlimited times within a year.

All eyes are on Charlene Choi and Gillian Chung after they announced their plan to come back as Twins and have a concert at Hong Kong Coliseum in April in conjunction with Twins’ 10th anniversary.


Prior to that, Charlene, 27, and Gillian, 29, have reunited to do a promotion clip for good friend Wing Shya’s new movie Hot Summer Days.


The theme of the concert, Everybody, Bounce, might offer a hint or two to their state of mind.


With their hair combed back, the girls are seen channelling the rocker look as they apply smoky eye make-up and don black leather jackets and long black boots.


“It’s been a long time since we last worked together. It’s going to be different. We were also worried that our fans had forgotten Twins. Then, there’s the question of whether the concert will sell or not.


“But this is our 10th anniversary and we really want to celebrate it. We believe that everything will be okay, as long as Gillian and I have a common goal,” Charlene said.


Recalling how the Edison Chen photo scandal has changed their lives, Charlene said Gillian has become more mature.

Breaking the record ticket sales of Asian concert in Malaysia, Super Junior, the 2nd Asia Tour “Super Show 2” Live in Malaysia 2010, nearly 40% of the concert tickets were sold out in less than a week during the Ticket Pre-sale. RM138 and RM238 ticket categories were totally sold out. Especially RM138 ticket category was gone within 2 hours of the Pre-Sale itself. Fans started to queue at 7am and the queue lasted for 12 hours, an unseen ticket-grabbing phenomenon over the past decade.


To continue the Super Junior Tsunami, the organizer, Redstar Presents and concert management, Marctensia will kick off the Official Ticket Launch on Saturday, 6 February 2010 at concourse level, Sungei Wang at 12pm. There will be 15% discount on each concert tickets.
