Boyzone's Stephen Gately Had Passed Away

To all the Boyzone fans out there, it would be a heartbreak for you as one of the member, Stephen Gately was confirmed died while holidaying in Majorca Island , Spain.

It seemed that he had took some alcoholic drink the night (Saturday,10th October) before his passing and never woke up the next day. Well, at least he passed away peacefully in his sleep. But its a tad bit too early for his age, isn't it ?

The four other members of the 1990s hit band comprises of Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham , Shane Lynch and Keith Duffy were expected to fly out to Palma, Majorca on Sunday.

Ford Model Inc Wants Amber Chia To Take Over Show

Step aside Yap Wen-Ji. As Amber Chia’s wait in vain is finally over with Ford Models Inc officially offering her the sole Malaysian franchisee rights to the prestigious Ford Supermodel of the World contest. The Ford Supermodel of the World competition will be held in January next year.




The franchisee rights are hers now but she needs a lot of money to run the modelling reality show and only has two months to get corporate sponsors.


"It is a very expensive show to manage as the franchise fee alone will costs around RM100,000, " she said at a press conference in Rajan's office in Sri Hartamas, KL


She urged those keen on working with her on show to contact her at amberchia.com.


"I’m also looking for more contestants. The 500 who have applied to be on the Malaysia’s Supermodel Search Presents Ford Supermodel of the World can register for FREE.


"This is my way of helping aspring models in the country." added Amber.


Amber Chia, who was tangled in a contractual dispute with her business partner, Yap Wen-Ji over the legality of a claimed agreement with Ford Models. Chia's lawyer Rajan Navaratnam, confirmed that she would would take legal action against her former partner.


Amber Chia should be grateful to have at least settle the franchisee part but will Yap Wen Ji lose a friend like Amber due to the lawsuit ?? Lets hope for the best for both parties.

Gary Chaw(曹格)is going to be jailed for up to one year if being convicted for his HK street brawl with Justin Lo(側田) on September 23rd. Hong Kong police have arrested Malaysian singer Gary Chaw for fighting in the streets after the news was widely reported in media and has been constantly circulating around the Internet.

Gary Chaw's September 23rd fight with his friend, Justin Lo in a busy street within the Special Administrative region of China was caught on video. The clip showed Chaw, 30, attacking Lo and had at one pointtrying to bash him with a signboard.


Despite his public apology to Justin Lo a day later, the incident turned into a huge issue by the media, especially after police began investigating the case. Gary Chaw then sneaked back to Malaysia to avoid further media attention.


But it is learnt that he returned to Hong Kong on Friday upon request of the police and was subsequently arrested.He has since been released on bail pending further investigations but has to report to the police again soon.


This incident too had made him poorer when series of to be held variety shows and concerts in Hong Kong and Taiwan has been cancelled due to his indecent behaviour on the street. He was reported to have lost a RM18.4mil (S$7.5m) contact with a recording company.


It was a huge blow to his career.

Those of you who had followed the Amber Chia - Yap Wen Ji saga dispute over the Malaysia’s Supermodel Search Presents Ford Supermodel of the World must be very disappointed with the abruptly dismissal of the this highly anticipated Model Search reality TV series which is equivalent to America's Next Top Model created by Tyra Banks.

I'm sure fans of Amber Chia must be cursing this irresponsible character of Yap Wen-Ji, who had suggested the idea of this highly rated Model Search. Till now, Yap Wen-Ji has gone into her own dugout, hiding from the lights of the media.


The two girl pals, who are executive producers of the Malaysia’s Supermodel Search Presents Ford Supermodel of the World, are currently in the midst of a massive dispute and management crisis because of Yap’s failure to provide a copy of her Ford Models franchisee contract to Amber Chia and her lawyer, Rajan Navaratnam.


“It is my biggest wish that Wen-Ji and I could settle our contractual dispute amicably, I wish to move on and hope she could do the same. She’s still young and got a lot more going for her if she could learn to be a better person.” Amber said.


The 28-year-old said her contractual dispute with her friend, Yap Wen-Ji, has taught her a valuable lesson.


“It (the crisis) is a good learning experience for me,” said the budding entrepreneur who recently set up her own event management company called Amber Creations.


“I’m trying to stay positive. I keep telling myself that everything will be all right.”


Chia continues to wait in tears for an answer from her former partner why their planned reality show, Malaysia’s Supermodel Search Presents Ford Supermodel of the World had gone so wrong.


The problem now is..where are you Yap Wen-Ji? Why aren't you showing your face and explain the whole situation to everyone ? Hiding something wrong or fishy activities behind us ?
